Virtual imagery for the socially distanced

With the introduction of social distancing guidelines, many businesses of all shapes and sizes have had to work quickly to adapt their offering. With restrictions on photoshoots at the moment, Render Studio are here to help. We offer a range of virtual services which can be used to visualise your product in photorealistic quality, whether that be architecture, interior design or the packaging and branding of a commercial product. Most importantly, we can do this remotely, without the need to meet in person.

Product Visualisation (CGI): We can create visuals of your product without the need of a physical product/prototype. We can replicate flawlessly the look and texture of any material required, to create a perfect digital version which can be placed into various environments from standard photography studios to purpose ‘built’ environments which provides endless possibilities for presentation. We can provide static images or animated sequences depending on requirements.

Architectural/Interior Visualisation (Archviz/CGI): Architectural visualisation has been around for a long time but perhaps more relevant than ever given current circumstances with social distancing measures speculated to last for the foreseeable future. We can create marketing and sales visuals for property, be it for exterior or interior spaces, which help sell the dream and can be implemented across various media channels. We do this through bringing technical drawings to life in 3D and can also create the external environment surrounding your project if required.

Virtual reality (VR): Particularly useful for the visualisation of spaces (such as commercial or residential property) or larger products, our VR offering allows clients to experience the look, feel and scale of their project from an early concept stage right through to a full photorealistic environment. Again, we can do this from technical drawings, with no need for any photography of the setting in real life. VR gives the opportunity to move around a space which is particularly useful in achieving sign off from clients, but also opens the possibility to view specification changes to kitchens and bathroom design in real-time.

Augmented reality (AR): We can use AR to let you insert your product into the environment you, or indeed your customers, are looking at through any compatible smart device (phone, tablet, smartglasses). For example, this could be used to see how a piece of artwork or furniture would look in your home. The item can even be animated, which acts as an interesting and engaging way to market your product.

Case study: We have previously created packaging renders for Edinburgh-based craft beer producer Pilot. Up until recently, Pilot sold their beer exclusively to pubs and bars. When lockdown was brought into place, they worked quickly to set up an online retail offering and needed visuals of the range of beers available in their shop. We were delighted to produce photorealistic CGI images of each of their cans to help them continue their sales to the public.

Stay safe.
