24.01.12 Abbotsford, LDN Architects
We've recently been busy working in collaboration with LDN Architects and Damhead Design Studio to visualise a new vehicle access for the soon to be completed visitor reception facilities at Abbotsford House in Melrose, Scottish Borders.
Abbotsford is the creation of Sir Walter Scott and is one of Scotland’s greatest cultural sites. We are delighted to be involved in such a prestigious project and are enjoying working closely with the design team to illustrate their proposals.

07.07.11 Azuma House, Tadao Ando
At Render, we are big fans of Tadao Ando's architecture. Whilst browsing the internet we stumbled across a 3D Sketchup model at Ronen Bekerman's fantastic blog and thought it would be only right to texture and render this amazing example of Ando's work.

We've been extremely busy of late working on a number of projects including producing a series of photomontage images to accompany a Planning Application for residential developers CALA Homes.

25.08.10 Apache North Sea
We've recently been busy producing a virtual tour of Apache North Sea's proposed extension to their offices in Aberdeen through our friends at Tinto Architecture. We created a series of four 360 degree panoramic images which were then linked together to create a virtual space, allowing the client the freedom to explore as they wish. More on this project here.

08.07.10 KAPSARC
We have recently been involved in producing a series of interior signage visualisations for our friends at Bright 3D for Zaha Hadid’s extraordinary KAPSARC project in the Middle East. The King Abdullah Petrolium Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC) is a new global centre for energy and environmental research and is currently under construction in Saudi Arabia.
Unfortunately due to confidentially agreements we cannot display our images on the website, however, here is a link to a short promotional video on the official KAPSARC website for what is truly an incredible building.

We've just taken delivery of our new business cards as part of our recent re branding by Greig at Effektive. We are delighted with how they have turned out.

20.01.10 WWII Air Raid Shelter
Sneak Peak of an interesting project we're currently working on to convert a WWII Air Raid Shelter into a Garden room / Studio Space. With a limited budget we have tried to make the construction as simple and as cost effective as possible. At present there is insufficient head room within the shelter, therefore we are proposing to remove the existing concrete flat roof and erect a simple steel frame to create additional head room. The new roof and additional walling (created by raising the wall head) will be clad with corrugated iron to create a visual divide between old and new. Windows have been positioned on both gables to allow morning and late afternoon sun into the space. More on this project soon...

I’ve recently been playing around with an HDRi lighting scene courtesy of HDRi Locations. Rather than adding a simple car into the scene, I thought it would be fun to insert two of my favourite toys as a child, Lego and Scalextrics, to create one dream toy!
